Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center to Open New Co-op Exhibition

WILLIAMSBURG – The Williamsburg Contemporary Art CenterThe fall members’ co-op lounge will open on-site for the first time since the pandemic closed the center last year.

The Fall Membership Co-op Show will feature 12 emerging artists and members and offer a wide range of mediums and styles in the main and mid-gallery.

The centre’s popular annual “Camera to Brush and Beyond” exhibit will be held concurrently in the Fireside Gallery, where member artists and artisans will perform photographs provided by member photographers, with the two interpretations displayed side by side.

The Artisans’ Corner will also present new works.

The exhibition will be open to the public on September 22 and will run until November 12.

The center reopened to the public in July for the first time since the start of the pandemic, with the kickoff of its annual members’ lounge. The center is now open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The “Blue Building” of the center is located at 110 Westover Avenue. All works of art are for sale.
