An exhibition of works by Claudia Verciani, member of the RSF Art Guild, will take place from September 20 to November 20. 7 at the Encinitas Civic Center gallery.
The title of Verciani’s exhibition is “Passages through Italy and California”. This solo exhibition of 25 oil paintings by Verciani takes you through the fields of Italian sunflowers, on a stroll through the towns of Tuscany, and offers you a bird’s eye view of the mighty California coast.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Verciani came to the United States as a young art student at the University of San Francisco, studied graphic arts, and then, as a wife, mother and wife. businessman, found life and love in San Diego. But over the past 10 years, Verciani has made painting his full-time focus.
Verciani’s paintings tell a delicious story of his love for nature. It becomes clear as she recounts her earliest memories of finding refuge in the beauty of nature in Brazil. In the parks and woods of Rio, she began her love and appreciation of nature and her need to capture it with a brush and paint.
“Painting is a belief … it’s what I’m supposed to do with my life now,” Verciani said in a press release. “It challenges me to be better and to learn more. It’s the trip of a lifetime, constant learning, and I love it.
