ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Earlier this year, the City of St. Petersburg announced the launch of the Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) program, a process that takes into account the social and community impact of major development plans receiving funding. important audience.
The first CBA program project is located on a 4.59 acre site at 800 1st Ave. South in downtown St. Pete, which will be developed by TPA Group in conjunction with the Moffitt Cancer Center and United Insurance Holdings Corp.
The proposal called for the development of a mixed-use project that would include a state-of-the-art ambulatory care center, a modern multi-family mixed-use residential tower with a workforce housing component, retail ground floor-enabled retail, public parking, and the site for the maintenance and future expansion of United Insurance Holdings Corp.’s corporate headquarters.
Interested residents are invited to attend an in-person public meeting led by the development team presenting the project overview on Monday, May 2 at 5 p.m. at the Sunshine Center (330 5th St. N.). During this meeting, attendees will be able to hear introductory information about the project, goals, and provide feedback.
