| ‘Follow your art’ with the city’s latest art exhibition

The Town of Santa Clarita is hosting the latest “Follow Your Art” art exhibition at the 1st Floor Gallery of Santa Clarita Town Hall. The art exhibition will be presented at City Hall from October 4 to December 3.

You can also view it virtually by visiting

Join the city, attend an evening reception, discuss featured artwork, and learn about the artists behind unique works in the ground floor gallery from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 6. Enjoy light meals and live music as you stroll through the gallery.

As technology moved away from the use of cards, artists found exciting ways to preserve the beauty and inspiration of cards. Follow Your Art shows you how to use physical maps to create your own works of art, from large portraits to small collages and sculptures. The group exhibition consists of 17 talented artists and 40 unique works of art.

Featured mixed media artist Nancy Goodman Lawrence is exhibiting nine works from her collection. Each work uniquely presents the artist’s technique for creating works using cards. In this exhibition you can see concentric stories with portraits. To learn more about Lawrence’s work, visit the following website:
