Midland Arts Council Announces Call for Applications for ‘The Open Show’ Exhibition

The Arts Council of Midland (ACM) has issued an open call for artwork for its inaugural art exhibition, “The Open Show”.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on April 12 at the Arts Council of Midland. “The Open Show” is open to individuals or co-artists selling their original artwork in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood.

All submitted works may be available for sale at the discretion of each artist. All accepted work must be delivered to the ACM office between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 8. Best in show will receive $500, first place $350, second place $250, third place $200 and there will be four honorable mentions, who will receive $50 each.
