Book launch at Wicklow Golf Club will include art and photography exhibits



IRISH Book Corner will host the launch of “Secret Lives Hurt” by author Tricia Holbrook at the Wicklow Golf Club, where guests will also enjoy an exhibition of photographs and art by local artists.

Secret Lives Hurt ‘follows Tricia’s’ Irish Coco’ and she will be present at the launch to sign all copies. She will also read a short excerpt from the novel. Copes will also be available for purchase and refreshments will be served in the evening.

An exhibition of photographs will present the work of Kate Amber, author of the Whiskey Guide of Ireland. She is also a photographer and owner of the Irish Book Corner platform. She has lived in Wicklow for nine years and supports freelance writers by publishing and promoting their books through Irish Book Corner.

Wicklow-based artist and textile enthusiast Nicola Fault will also be hosting an exhibition at night. Nicola was shortlisted this year for the 2021 open exhibition at the Signal Art Center in Bray. Nicola teaches knitting, art and bookbinding for adults and children.

The book launch and exhibit takes place at Wicklow Golf Club on Friday, November 19 from 7 p.m.
