BLUEFIELD – The Bluefield University Art Gallery is hosting the exhibition “Plein air is my escape, but sometimes it rains” by Gerri Young until April 1, 2022.

She skillfully paints a variety of textures and is able to push contrasts bringing the view to life. She enjoys working with different mediums and subjects, as shown in this exhibition.
“More often than not I paint in watercolors in various journals, but my recent outdoor acrylic landscapes have proven to be a source of pride as several have been accepted into local and even national judging,” he said. she declared. member and past president of the Blacksburg Regional Art Association.
