Artwork Sale to Benefit Friends of Reedsburg Public Library | Community

By on September 8, 2021 0

The family has now transferred ownership of the fine art to friends at the Reedsburg Public Library with stipulations for a sale to benefit not only the friends but also the Audubon Society, causes important to Dorothy and Robert Ziegler. The prices set by the family range from $ 75 to $ 350. The scenes, depicting Canadian geese, seagulls, eagles, wolves and more, would make perfect gifts for local nature enthusiasts or be suitable for an office or business display. Purchases can be made by cash, check payable to Friends of the Reedsburg Public Library or by credit card.

The Friends of Reedsburg Public Library, which has been in existence since 1994, raises funds for the library to “help strengthen collections, expand programs and improve services.” In the past, the Friends group funded the purchase of a projection system and blinds for the library’s community room. Part of the funds for the sale of works of art and the sale of books have been allocated to the new “library lockers” which will allow contactless and after-hours collection of library materials.

For more information, call the library at 768-READ (7323) or email [email protected]
